The Dainfern Clubhouse is busy going through an extensive upgrade giving residents and guests a new restaurant, with a new menu, while taking in the same beautiful views!

 

The upgrade is halfway there, and the Clubhouse is looking better than ever!

Overlooking the golf course and serving up some of the best cuisines in the north of Johannesburg, the newly upgraded Six33 restaurant in Dainfern Golf and Country Estate is bringing a fantastic new menu to the neighbourhood while serving up the same incredible views!

You can sit down for a family meal, meet clients for a cup of coffee or enjoy a quiet bite to eat on your own in this tranquil environment.

Dainfern is a mature, secure Golf and Residential Estate which has evolved over 1200 homes since its inception in 1992. The Estate offers an unparalleled lifestyle and recreational experience centred around the Gary Player designed golf course enhanced by nature trails, parks and sports facilities all located in its own 320-hectare “suburb”. Dainfern is a sanctuary within the energetic, vigorous metropolis of Johannesburg where children can safely ride their bikes in the street or play in one of the eleven playgrounds and parks the Estate offers.

The Clubhouse has recently gone through an extensive upgrade, where the team are creating three new areas, offering new spaces to enjoy the restaurant’s mouthwatering meals.

“The entire Clubhouse is being renovated to offer an entirely new experience in Dainfern. The idea was to split the restaurant up to a family area, a middle grill house section and a bar area where guests and residents can both feel at home.

We’ve also tried to cater to both kids and adults while still serving the most amazing meals!” – Six33 management.

The upgrade is only halfway there, but there have been some excellent additions to the area. If you head down to the Clubhouse, you will find an entirely new restaurant area with totally modern decor, and surprises around most corners; from a pizza making section for the little ones near the new playground to secluded fire-pits overlooking the beautiful greens for the adults… there is even a deli section for cakes and ice-creams!

The menus have also been redeveloped to reflect the new upgrade, giving restaurant visitors a variety of new meal options.

The family section offers an assortment of flavoursome eats for the entire household; from delicious homemade burgers, to freshly made pizzas and pasta. There is also a delectable gelato counter with the best ice-cream around!

The new “Grill Room” boasts a delicious gourmet menu (with a speciality chef section) offering everything from fresh oysters served with sparkling wine, lamb shanks served with vanilla bean mash, and prime rib on the bone served with mushroom whiskey cream… each dish has been carefully crafted to reflect a sense of pride and passion from the team, and each bite is a reminder that you are eating in one of the most beautiful estates in Africa.

We were invited to a tasting of the new menu before the restaurant officially opened and were blown away with the incredible new dishes!
