Deep Fried Oreos with home made ice cream and nutella sauce

What's better than Oreos & Ice Cream? Deep Fried Oreos and Ice Cream... obvs! A delicious dessert good enough for any day!

For the Oreos
- 500 ml Flour
- 4 ml Salt
- 10 ml Baking Powder
- 500 ml Water
- 2 Eggs
- 10 ml Lemon Juice
- 100 ml Additional Water
For the Ice Cream
- 600 ml Milk
- 600 ml Cream
- 2 Vanilla Pods
- 1 Pinch of salt
- 6 Eggs
- 360 g Caster Sugar
For the Oreos
- Sift all the dry ingredients together.
- Whisk the egg, water, oil and lemon juice together. Mix the wet and dry ingredients.
- Pour the mixture into a jug and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Add the additional water to the batter and mix until smooth.
- Wrap Oreos with pancake batter & fry in oil until crispy
For the Ice Cream
- Heat milk, cream, vanilla pod, seeds & salt in a saucepan
- Beat egg yolks and caster sugar
- Pour cream mixture into eggs, while beating
- Strain mixture & bring cook until back of spoon can be coated
- Pour into large bowl, cool & then churn
Notes
- Heat Nutella in a microwavable bowl and pour over Ice Cream to add the final touch!
